Whenever we establish a new habit, we encounter a lot of initial resistance. Eventually, however, the resistance fades and things become easier. Getting over this hump is what prevents most women from reaching their sexy arm goals.

So without further ado, here are 4 mental hacks you can use today to help get rid of arm fat:

1. Don’t obsess over results, focus on the process. Too many women micromanage every inch of the way. If you are measuring yourself on a daily basis, get ready for some major disappointments. How Do You Tone Arms When Constantly Eating Out?

If you want to tone arms and eat out regularly, be very careful. Eating at restaurants is a flabby arm slippery slope. And you will eat at restaurants because they play an important role in how we socialize.

Now restaurants are bad because their main goal is to stimulate your tastes buds as much as possible so that you come back for more. And maximum taste bud stimulation requires the use of extremely unhealthy ingredients.

Partially hydrogenated vegetable oils are a perfect example here. Found in so many restaurant items, Harvard researchers have proven that they’re lethal.

Having said the above, I do NOT recommend becoming an anti-restaurant martyr. This is simply too restrictive in this day and age. Instead, minimize, and if possible, eliminate the damage. And here are 4 strategies to tone arms even while eating out:

1. Stay away from the high-fat protein. Stick with lean sources of protein like turkey and soy products. Pork, beef, lamb, and especially hot dogs an ribs will come laden with fat. Unfortunately, fat will feed your flabby arms.

2. Careful with the carbs. That bread with the butter is so tempting, I know. But if you really want to tone arms, please control yourself. Ask for the bread to not be brought out or have a salad before anything else arrives. The salad will slow down the digestion of the bread and make you feel full.

3. Make sure your salad is healthy. A monsoon of dressing and an explosion of cheese can make an otherwise healthy salad very unhealthy. Strive for a salad that has spinach or some type of lettuce mix and make sure that you don’t have more than 1 table spoon of dressing. And remember to be careful with the cheese.

4. Don’t eat everything that’s on your plate. A single meal at a restaurant can have a whole days worth of calories. This is the main reason why your arm fat will love it every time you eat out-it knows it’s going to get fed very well. Only eat half of what’s on your plate or share it with someone else.

Now I would like to point out that if eating at a restaurant is a rare occasion for you, then most of this really doesn’t apply. The occasional pig out will not hinder your mission to tone arms. These tips become more relevant for those women who eat out more than once per week.

The trick is to put your body into spontaneous fat loss mode. When you enter spontaneous fat loss, you unconsciously eat less food.

And without further delay, here are 4 tips for entering the spontaneous fat loss zone so that you can tone flabby arms:

1. Keep healthy food close and accessible. And bad food as far away as possible to limit access. One study showed that people eat three hundred percent more candy when it’s close and accessible. So always ensure that the bad stuff is hidden away.

2. Use smaller plates, bowls and utensils. Our perception can override our “feel full” signal. In fact, one study showed that when using larger bowls and spoons, people unconsciously eat 50% more ice cream! This happens because the scoops of ice cream look smaller next to the bigger bowls and spoons. Use smaller eating devices and the arm fat will fall off.

I acknowledge that you can selectively prioritize the loss of arm fat when starting a program. But you can, however, focus on other things to accelerate the toning process in your arms. Water and nutrient content, for instance, play a big role in how your arms look.

So while you can’t selectively lose fat from your arms first, you can accelerate their toning by focusing on other factors. Here are 4 factors to focus on for sexy arms in no time:

1. Target all 3 divisions of the triceps. The triceps is not one muscle, it’s made up of 3 muscles. Most workout programs women follow only target 1 or 2 muscles in the triceps. For the fastest toning possible target all 3.

2. Target the 2 divisions of the biceps. The biceps is made up of 2 muscles. Many women don’t even focus on their biceps because it’s not the area where arm fat hangs and jiggles from. However, the biceps is the first part of your arm that someone will see when meeting you for the first time.

3. Never do the same arm workout twice. If you are a beginner or have taken a lot of time off from the gym, you have a little more wiggle room here. However, for most women this rule still applies. Do the same workout over and over again and your results will come to a screeching halt guaranteed!

4. Incorporate superset workouts. To do a superset, you need to complete a triceps exercise right after a biceps exercise without any rest in between. Do this, and your arms will get toned very very quickly. As an added bonus, this technique will prevent you from hitting any plateaus.

You see, my arm fat was out of control. It would keep on jiggling even after my body had stopped moving. I had had enough. I hope you don’t have the same issue.

It can be a tough fight, but rest assured that there is hope. You see, there are top methods for exercising your arms. Unfortunately, most women stumble because they don’t know what the top methods are. In fact, many women confuse the wrong methods with the top methods!

You just might go crazy when trying to filter out all the bogus exercise advice floating around out there. So here are 4 major mistakes you shouldn’t be making when doing arm exercises for women:

1. Using a stability ball. Stability balls are great for increasing balance and coordination, and for activating your stabilizing muscles. But this is not your main goal. Your main goal is to get toned arms as quickly as possible. And to accomplish this, you are going to have to stick to basic and heavy weight lifting.

2. Half dome bosu balls. Again, these are great for increasing balance and coordination, but this is NOT what you want. Bosu balls drastically reduce the amount of weight you can use when exercising your arms. Remember: heaviest weights equal fastest results.

3. Single foot exercises. Are you preparing for the next cirque du soleil or the night when you can finally flaunt your sexy arms? Exercising on one foot is great for increasing coordination among your body parts, but this is not your main goal.

4. 5lb dumbbells. If you use such light weights when working out, you’ll be spinning your arm flab wheels for a long time. Now if you are a true first time beginner, these might be appropriate starting weights. But you should be able to go heavier within a week.

The main key here is to not be wowed by the fitness industry’s gimmicks when learning how to do arm exercises for women. You have to train your arms hard and heavy to get the fastest results. And now you know 4 things you shouldn’t be doing when exercising your arm flab off.

I’ve advised countless clients on how to lose arm fat with accelerated techniques. So without further ado, here are 4 rules to follow for rapid arm fat reduction:

1. Look at meals in term of four food groups. Include a protein, vegetable, carbohydrate and fat item in every meal-no exceptions. Forget all the hype, this is the best way to eat. Limit saturated fat since it interferes with carbohydrate metabolism and eat beans as your carbohydrate source for the best results.

2. Manipulate your carbohydrate consumption. Lower carbohydrate intake on the days you aren’t working out. And maintain carbohydrate intake on the days that you are working out. Try out different intake levels to figure out what works best for you.

3. Exercise all the muscle fibers in your arm. High repetition, light weight workouts are a thing of the past. You absolutely have to use heavy weights to get toned arms. Fall short here, and you will not be able to target the whole spectrum of muscle fibers in your arms.

4. Drink a meal in liquid form immediately after your workout. You only have 20 minutes before the opportunity disappears. You see, immediately after your workout little transporters migrate towards the surface of your muscle cells. This provides a transient opportunity to get a “controlled” amount of nutrients into your arms to accelerate the arm-toning process.

Do a search for the term “how to lose arm fat” and you’ll see just how many tricky marketers are ready to empty your purse. The gross amount of misinformation can make it impossible for you to know what is fact or fiction.

If you buy into this quackery, your bank account will get smaller but your arm fat will get bigger. Please do not try to hypnotize yourself.

And there are trustworthy sources of information out there. The trick is to develop the ability to immediately decide whether or not your source of information is bogus. Here are some common red-flag-claims that indicate a bogus source:

1. Lifting weights will get you bulky arms. Nothing could be further from the truth! Lifting weights builds muscle and burns fat. Since fat takes up much more space than muscle, you end up with smaller and tighter arms.

How do you spontaneously lose fat? Well, here are 4 things you can start doing today so that the flabby upper arms are gone by tomorrow:

1. Buy foods with labels from not-so-cool places. Studies have shown restaurant goers will unconsciously eat up to 500 fewer calories at dinner if they are presented with wine that comes from an undesirable wine-producing area. You have to be creative here, but it’s worth it.

2. Try to only eat low GI carbs. The carbs with the absolute lowest GI are vegetables and legumes. The more of these you eat, the more arm fat you’ll lose. Obese teenage boys will eat 621 fewer calories in a single meal when eating low GI carbs. Low GI carbs are your best friends.

3. Have a salad before any big meal. One really cool study showed that restaurateurs ate 100 fewer calories when given a salad with dinner. Now be really careful with how much dressing you use.

4. Have unsaturated fat, not saturated fat. Unsaturated fat is horrible for your body and it makes you eat more too. People who have olive oil instead of butter eat 200 fewer calories per meal at a restaurant.

It is much simpler than you have been led to believe. Most sites selling you everything under the sun about weight loss are simply trying to get more money out of your purse.

2. Questionable before and after pictures. If the person in the before and after pictures looks different then he or she is! A real before and after shot will clearly show (without any doubt) the same person. Mind you, for $3 you can pay someone overseas to modify a digital picture. So watch out!

3. Stocking stuffers. If you notice the site is offering bonus after bonus after bonus, then its time to close the window. This overused marketing tactic has invaded the internet and creates the image of getting more for less. Please do not fall for this.

4. Astronomical discounting. I am sorry, but 600% discounts do not exist. If a site tells you that you are getting a $700 product for a one-time $37, then you are being duped. Do not fall for this one, please.

5. List after list of certifications. The fitness industry is not regulated and any Joe blow can become a trainer in only 2 days. And once Joe blow is a certified trainer, he will proclaim himself an expert! Stay away from so called experts that list endless certifications that mean nothing.
